My Darling Lemon Thyme top 10 posts of 2018

As the year draws to an end I thought I’d carry on the tradition I started last year of sharing the 10 most popular posts of the year. Last year (as it was the first time I’d shared a pot of it’s kind) I shared the top 10 posts of the year, from newly posted recipes, to classics posted years ago. This year however I thought it would be great to see which of the posts I’ve shared DURING 2018 spoke to you the most. It’s always super interesting for me to see which posts were well received, sometimes I have an idea when a post will do great (if something has chocolate, especially if it’s a ‘healthy’ sweet treat, it’s usually ok to assume it will be well received!), but a few of them have surprised me, in a good way! I’m stoked to see there are so many of you interested in sprouting and the kinds of recipes you can then make with them. Very cool. Looking at the top posts of this past year, from all the recipes on my site, a few of the all-time favourites showed up again this year… Ginger-roasted pumpkin + quinoa salad with mint, chilli + lime being the most popular, with my Preserved garlic in olive oil, my Rhubarb ginger + apple muffins (gluten + dairy-free) and the Roasted cauliflower, chickpea + quinoa salad with jalapeno lime dressing also featuring high.

But, of all the recipes I shared in 2018, these were your favourites…

#1: NO-BAKE COFFEE, CARDAMOM + DARK CHOCOLATE SLICE (GLUTEN-FREE + VEGAN)

Chocolate, tick. Healthier sweet treat, tick. Super easy, tick. Delicious, tick, tick.


#2: GLUTEN-FREE PINEAPPLE, LIME + COCONUT DELICIOUS PUDDINGS

You guys sure do love all things sweet.


#3: SRI LANKAN CASHEW CURRY

This made me so happy to see! It’s actually really amazing it’s come in at number 3 given it was the last recipe I posted, only last month!


#4: ROASTED CARROT, QUINOA + CORN SALAD WITH JALAPENO LIME DRESSING (VEGAN + GLUTEN-FREE)

I wasn’t even going to share this recipe as the photos weren’t up to my usual standard (I snapped them in the two seconds before we ran out the door to our friends house!). I’m so glad I did.


#5: GUT-FRIENDLY PORRIDGE WITH QUINCE CARDAMOM PUREE + SWEET DUKKAH

I’m not sure if it was the tip I shared or the quine cardamom puree that you loved, but either way it’s awesome to see this come in at number 5!


#6: ROASTED CARROT HUMMUS

Simple is the key right?


#7: HOW TO: SPROUT MUNG BEANS, LENTILS, GRAINS + MORE…

This made me SO happy to see! Go the sprouts!


#8: ROASTED STRAWBERRY + GINGER ‘ICE CREAM’ (GLUTEN-FREE + VEGAN)

This simple flavour-packed recipe is so deserving of your top 10. Yum.


#9: SPROUTED MUNG BEAN CURRY (VEGAN)

Again, I’m smiling from ear to ear 🙂


#10: SPROUTED LENTIL BITES WITH CORIANDER LIME SAUCE (VEGAN + GLUTEN-FREE)

And… another sprouted legume recipe! Yay!

  1. Happy New Year Emma + thank you for the abundance of amazing recipes you share. Both your cookbooks are phenomenal + I don’t even bother putting them back on the shelf, there’s no point (although I do know a couple of recipes by heart!).
