It’s been awhile since I’ve shared my favourite things on here hasn’t it!? I do have a lovely autumn recipe to share, but thought I’d sneak in a quick little round up of all the good things around at the moment before the month ends first. And also tack on a couple of photos from our NZ trip too. The first one was taken in Dads kitchen looking out over the Raglan harbour, ridiculously gorgeous right?! Not a bad view to wake up to every morning I reckon, especially when it’s full tide and you feel like you are on a boat. The girl hiding under all that beautiful hair is my niece Mila, she is so photogenic and I found myself constantly taking photos of her. Especially when both of my kids were tired and over me taking photos for most of the trip! I managed to get one good shot of all the four kids (two mine, two my sisters) for the book before the boys ran off around the wilderness that is my mums garden. And finally the view out our window first thing in the morning as we took off back to Australia, farewelling my beloved Aotearoa.
Before I leave you with my list + pics, I have one teeny bit of exciting news to share… My Darling Lemon Thyme was named #5 overall in the Top Mom Food Blogs 2013 over on Babble! I was so shocked and extremely chuffed to open up that email a few mornings ago. Thank you Babble!

Thanks so much Meg! xx
That view! Oh damn. Also, those kids are total cuties, and go you being in that top five. My computer's being a dick right now and not letting me open any of the links, but I'll try again later…
Thanks Laura! The view in that pic actually looks surreal I reckon, like I've photoshopped in a postcard or something. But I promise that's all real 🙂
Congratulations on your Babble victory! And your photos look wonderful, New Zealand is such a beautiful place. I've been looking for guides to improve my quality of life recently – I found a great book called Health on Your Plate, and your recipes and links will be great assets as well, I think. Thank you!
Wonderful photos indeed, and congratulations on the listing!!

You are more than welcome Sarah, love your work too xx
Emma, Oh I'm so bummed that we never made it to Raglan either time we were in NZ. I've only heard good things and your photos show the beauty.
I hope all is well and you had great travels.
