a few of my favourite things {june 2013}

Sunday morning.

Sometimes there's just not enough days in the month! Hence my being a few days late on this post 🙂 Lots of cool things to be found this past month and in case you didn't see this little post I wrote about one of our family rituals over on This Whole Family, be sure to check it out. Meagan was one of the very first online blogging friends I made when I started this blog nearly 3 years ago and although we are yet to meet in person, it's been really lovely getting to know each other through our blogs xx

* Great reminder for all us mums. Actually all parents in general. (via The Little Red House)
* Love this
* Kye's current favourite song. This kid has great taste 🙂
* I love the original version of this song but love my mate Anna's even more.
* Still on a Anna buzz her new single is out now too... one of my favs to date. My other super talented friend directed the video. Clever girls those two.
* Love every song that comes out of his mouth.
* Bookmarking this recipe for next summer!! Yum.
* Loving this song by my friends little brother. Go Raph!
* I know I'm totally late to the party on this one NZ, but how amazing are these guys?!
* Buckwheat-rhubarb scones. Hell yes.
* Really enjoyed this and these have my name on them.
* I could eat one of these right now.
* Soko
* Such beautiful words.
* Yes to this ice cream + this one too.
* I've seen these recipes floating around everywhere and something has always put me off trying it out for myself (maybe I just hate food trends?), but this post got me thinking maybe I should just try the damn recipe.
* great song
* I've never got into stevia myself, but I know a few of you might be interested to read this.

    After thinking I had 'no food' in the house on a Sunday in Switzerland (shops are closed in our area) I saw carrots and nearly the right amount of orange lentils to make your creamy soup again! And had all other ingredients! Who was saying there's no food in the house??? Walked up to the farm at top of the hill to get some eggs to boil to go with it. I was looking for your current list of favourite things to check out some new music but was one day too early. Something to look forward to when I have time, thanks Julie 🙂

    Thanks so much for the shout out, Emma! (: (I was totally dying over Kathryn's ice cream too — toasted buckwheat! Whoawhoa.)

    I've been so curious about those cauliflower pizza crusts. I saw one recipe a while ago and got so excited over it, then a million more popped up and it was a little overwhelming. But considering that my dream dinner is pretty much vegetables piled on top of more vegetables, it definitely seems worth a try!
